⬡ Outer Zone

Atmosphere

Thin envelope of air forms around Earth. Contains N₂, O₂, CO₂ and other gases.

Hydrosphere

Oceans, seas, lakes & rivers — all water bodies on Earth's surface.

Biosphere

Continents that host living and non-living organisms. The zone of life.

◈ Inner Zone

Crust / Lithosphere

Silica & aluminium (SIAL). Conrad discontinuity marks its lower boundary.

Mesosphere

Middle region below the crust. Bounded above by Conrad & below by Moho discontinuity.

Mantle (Sima)

Silicate & manganese. Slow convection currents drive plate tectonics.

Outer Core (Liquid)

Liquid nickel & iron. Generates Earth's magnetic field by convection.

Inner Core (Solid)

Solid nickel & iron — Barysphere. Extreme pressure keeps it solid despite heat.
